Advertising disclosure
Contractor Bookkeepers is an advertising and referral service operated by Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC. This page explains exactly what that means.
We are not an accounting or bookkeeping firm
We do not keep books, run payroll, prepare financial statements or give tax advice. We hold no accounting credential and make no claim to one. Every service discussed on this site is provided by an independent bookkeeping firm with which we have a referral arrangement.
What happens when you call or send a request
The telephone number on this site is a tracking number operated by us. Calls to it are forwarded to the independent bookkeeping firm. Calls may be recorded; you will hear an announcement to that effect before the call connects, and if you would prefer not to be recorded you can end the call at that point or use the form instead. Florida, where this site is operated from, is a two-party consent state, and the announcement exists so that consent is informed and given before any recording begins. Form submissions are stored by us and passed to the firm.
How we are paid
The bookkeeping firm that receives your enquiry pays us for the introduction, either as a fixed monthly fee for exclusive access to enquiries from this site or as a per-enquiry amount. You are never charged. What you pay for the work is a matter between you and the firm; we do not mark up their pricing and take no share of the engagement.
What we do with your details
Your name, phone number, business name, email and the description you give are passed to the firm so they can reply. We keep a record of enquiries so we can tell whether the site is working. We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to multiple firms to bid against each other: one site, one firm.
Reviews, ratings and credentials
There are none on this site, and that is deliberate. The site launched in 2026 and has no review history of its own. Publishing testimonials we did not collect would be inventing a track record. The services described on this site are bookkeeping and payroll; nothing here is offered as CPA attest work or tax preparation.
Accuracy
The guides on this site are general information about how contractor books work, not accounting, tax or legal advice about your business. Payroll registrations, worker-classification tests, sales tax on materials, lien deadlines and contract accounting methods differ by state and change over time. Confirm anything that matters with the firm, your tax preparer or a licensed professional before relying on it.
